A TV with with one black bar (instead of two)

Submitted by greg on March 11, 2009 – 9:00 amNo Comment

Studio FRST has come up with a TV to do away with the black bars either on the top or side of your screen due to what aspect ratio you are watching.  The 16943 looks like an asymmetric black crystal sculpture placed on a glass base, making it seem that the black sculpture is floating in space.  The reason for the unusual shape is the ability to fill either a 4/3 ratio for TV or a 16/9 ratio for cinema.  There is also a built in DVD player for your viewing enjoyment.
