Before we moved to our current location in 2008, Content Design Group’s offices shared space with Associated Florida Architects in a renovated building located in the 5-Points area.  We were lucky to get into the space before final construction took place.  With a minute budget and a pocket full of sweat equity, we designed the space to feel like we would be working in a loft.  Once the sprinkler pipes were changed from PVC to metal, we set out to run our data, power, and speakers in conduit.  Once finished, everything was sprayed out white.  Polycarbonate cubicles allowed light transmission as well as privacy.  The spiral duct work is highlighted by aluminum diffusers.  Industrial pendant lighting and sconces provide lighting as well as design details.  Desks and storage by IKEA were designed into the space.  A three seater, Corbusier sofa greats guests as they enter. The space was a functional as well as inspiring place to work.
