Located in the up and coming Murray Hill district, Aurathai is a hip and distinctively Asian, Thai restaurant.  The use of inexpensive yet high impact elements helped to transform this former Italian restaurant into a Thai dining destination.  The main artwork was created by rastorizing a black and white photo, enlarging it, printing it on clear film, and mounting to a piece of stainless steel.  Finishes such as bamboo slat walls and unique lighting by Christopher Moulder, add to the overall feel.  Arne Jacobsen chairs provide seating at the tables and the stainless steel bar.
