Thanks Jeremiah for the kudos. This is a budget crunching case study and we are really excited to be a part of it. We are hoping to do some on site videos once the construction starts so keep you eyes open for future posts.

To say I'm impressed, as always, is an understatement. Out of all the firms that I try to follow in this city you guys seem to have a corner on Good, Clean, Affordable Modern design/Architecture. I mean, look at the floor plan: I count 3 bedrooms, 2 bath. It's not a huge house, but it's got what you need without all the wasted space of the typical McMansions you find in Ponte Vedra and the Southside. Two years ago I was involved with a project for HabiJax and we sat in on some focus group meetings where they brought in average homeowners and asked them questions about how they felt about photos of different homes and material choices. The overwhelming majority of those people (about 100%) were completely out of their minds. It shows you that most people are very uneducated when it comes to what is possible on a budget in today's architectural world. But with a few more of these going up in Jacksonville, I bet people will wake up real quick.
Great work guys.
