f.v.o.s. – friday video on saturday

Dutch Bike

We were out of the office most of the day yesterday so we missed our Friday video post.  The highlight of our day was a stop by Bold City Brewery for a couple of pints.  Check out their amazing new packaging.

Getting out reminded us that cooler weather is on its way and with cooler weather we start thinking about our bicycles.  One of our favorite web contributors is Mikael_Colville-Andersen.  Mikael is the creative brains behind Copenhagen Chic, Copenhagenized, Slow Bicycle Movement, and Cykelhjelm.org.  Mikael is an independent film maker and photographer with a passion for his city, Copenhagen and the people that use their bicycles as transportation.  Mikael’s web sites and blogs continually educate and entertain his readers while promoting two wheel self powered transportation all over the world.  Often duplicated, nothing beats his short films and photos to put you in the right state of mind for a slow bike ride.

The first video shows a typical Wednesday of Copenhagen bicyclist from a single vantage point.  People that live in Copenhagen are said to be some of the happiest in the world…..Coincidence?…I think not.

The second video highlights Mikael’s amazing ability to shoot street scenes, edit them and add just the right music to evoke the perfect moment….on two wheels.

Enjoy
