We’re really digging these abstract movie posters over at Film the blanks. Looks like the idea was to simplify the posters down to there basic elements and colors, and leave the details missing, almost like they are the first few layers of screen printing. The site is running a contest to see who can solve the most blanks in the comment section of each post.
The posters also reminded us of the great series of retro “I Can Read” fake book covers by Mitch Ansara, aka Spacesick:
