project update: the roscoe house
We thought it was time to share some of the process on the Roscoe House here on the site, or course if you liked our facebook page, you would have seen a few images as the house has begun to take shape over the last few months. We first posted about the Roscoe House way back in 2009 and construction began in the fall of last year. The 5300 sf house is 3 story, 3 bedroom – with numerous multi-use spaces and a separate guest house, with a central courtyard and elevated pool deck along the intracoastal waterway. The home utilizes structural insulated panel construction for the exterior wall system and will have an exterior finish of stucco and HardiePlank lap siding. As you’ve probably seen in some of the initial designs of the home, the style has become more traditional, and can be classified as sort of a “coastal modern” home.
You can take a look at some of the images taken over the last couple of site visits below and let us know if you have any questions or comments below. As always thanks for stopping by!

Jason – I’m sorry about the jax home. If it were smaller and more appropriately situated (not due west), would it have worked? We are moving to Miami and want to build a 3000sq ft passivhaus. Do you know anyone down there? Thanks
Is this house still available?
