Two Blondes and a Guy is a salon committed to providing a relaxing welcoming environment where the client’s needs are the number one priority.  The client’s goal was to present themselves as a high end salon without alienating existing clients.  The salon’s task to present itself in a high end manor with warm inviting appeal was accomplished by using clean lines and classic modern lighting mixed with warm inviting colors and textures.  The George Nelson bubble lamps double as the main lighting and the sculptural focal points of the salon, while track lighting highlights specific work areas as the actual fixtures into the matching ceiling.  The design of the main space was set up on a very specific grid, so there is an illusion of space that takes place in the reflections in the mirrors.  THe mirrors appear to be transparent while adding a visual extension to the space.  The salon has successfully integrated a new clientele of customers, while their existing clients are very happy with the results of the new salon’s atmosphere.
