I know this is an old video, but we were not blogging on ’07.  In 2006, on a trip to CA Boom 3 in Santa Monica California,  I had the pleasure of visiting the Solar Umbrella House before heading out for a couple or three martini’s with Larry Scarpa of Pugh + Scarpa Architects and the friends I was traveling with.  I was with Christopher Moulder of Moulder Inc. and Glo Lighting, and  Mike Walburn of Walburn Architecture Studio, and we had traveled out to Santa Monica CA. to partake in our first full scale modern home tour.  Mike spent some time in college with Larry and he invited us over to see the house, chat a little, and then head out for some delicious cocktails.  Anyway, here is a great video of the house.  I hope you enjoy.
