		<description>Love the vertical use of space to fill the narrow lot. However, the old Lerner building was demoed a couple months ago, leaving nothing behind but and empty lot and the old store&#039;s entryway flooring with &quot;Lerners&quot; inlayed. Kind of sad, would have loved to see it renovated and repurposed as your elevation suggests. actually would love to live in something like that!</description>

I recall at one time there was a developer/client who wanted to do something similar to this on that site.  Of course, given City Council&#039;s track record, it was violently shot down, burned to ash and buried in a deep dark hole, location unknown....typical.  :-P
