This detached two car garage was designed and built as a model for how the client’s future renovations for their main house are to look.  The clients specified products and materials that they wanted to incorporate in the construction of the garage.  Our job was to design the garage and implement the materials the client liked while making sure the overall design and scale maintained a cohesive balance.  The garage provides parking for two cars with walk around storage above.  The single garage door gives the illusion of double carriage doors, but is more cost effective. The copper standing seam roof and gutters add a level of sophistication and quality to the overall design.  No detail was left to chance.  The soffit material is white painted bead board reminiscent of older homes in the surrounding area while the salvaged brick veneer gives the feeling that this little garage has been around for some time. The building is insulated with expanding spay foam to protect stored items from excessive heat and to insure the safe keeping and longevity of stored items.  We provided the overall design, construction documents, and exterior finishes for this cute little out building.
